Mike Onslow 06/01/2017 Security,

Firstly, happy new year to all! Hopefully you had a well earned rest over the Christmas period!

Recently we've had several customers contact us about an increase in spam received through the contact form on their website. Upon further investigation, it appears that there start of 2017 has seen a notable increase in spam activity, with websites across the globe being hit by spam submissions under the name "Barnypok".

Whilst spam is near-impossible to eradicate completely, there are steps that can be taken to help alleviate the problem. If you're suffering at Barnypok's hand (or from any other spam for submissions) drop us an email, we can install reCaptcha (it’s the little "I'm not a robot" tick box you've probably seen around the web). ReCaptcha helps reduce spam by stopping automatic form submissions and can be installed quickly onto your forms.

Drop and email to our support address or give us a ring and we'll happy to discuss it further.
